In the context of remote administration the role of a modern town hall changes. It becomes more than just an administrative centre. Despite its predominant function, more and more of the time that the building is occupied is progressively less pure debating and office work, it becomes an nucleus of civic activity. The building must allow for increasingly varied cultural activities.
The approach of adaptability is also a sustainable one ensuring maximum use of the building over time. A theme of providing fully functional spaces that allow for alternative uses is a guiding principle for this project.
